New CAI/XCal 2 installed!!!

Got my DeMolet CAI and XCalibrator 2 from Brenspeed.com today, installed the filter/tube and flashed the computer with the 87 octane tune because I still had a 1/4 tank left of it. The tune makes the car INCREDIBLE! Throttle response is instantaneous, the revs don't hang in between shifts and the motor pulls like a freight train, especially from 4000-6000 rpm. I would say this combo adds as much SOTP difference as a headswap on an MN-12 car. Totally worth the $600!!!

glad to here you like it. Ford should start putting these on the gt's at the factory not just on the shelby versions, and tuning them right. They just feel right after a good cai and tune.

Demoulet makes a great product and the customer service is outstanding. Beside the car is so different once you get it tuned.
Congrats on the Xcal combo

Well, the filter does not, but I believe the top ridge of the heat shield does.

thanks embalmer.

that is perfect. if the heat shield does then that means its sealing it away from the hot air

I did the same install last Saturday. The descriptions on the forums just don't do justice to the magnitude of the change! It's phenomenal.

im hearing nothing but great things about the demolet and i like the detailed information on their site.

now that it looks like it fits perfect (the cone filter not hitting the hood when its shut), its seems like a good option...

thanks all for the info...
