need tune with off road pipe?
#1
Anyone here gut the cats or run an off road pipe without a tune? I'm just wondering if the car will go into limp home mode. I'm planning on gutting the cats on mine but don't have a tuner yet to turn the sensors off.

I just installed the MAK o/r x-pipe a couple hundred miles ago. I had the C&L CAI, Magnaflow catbacks and a Diablosport Predator 93 tune for the C&L installed.
Dyno'd it last week and the A/F ratio was completely fine at 13 through the rpms.
I have not gotten any warning lights or anything.

Off road pipes are the same as removing the cats from the bassani x-pipe correct. From those who have installed those, I have heard that no tune in required.
