Need to quiet exhaust MAC too loud

So here is my situation I have BBK LT headers and the catted x pipe with MAC mufflers. I just took the MAC's off, and put on the stockers, as I don't think my neighbors were too happy with me leaving in the morning for work. I was just wondering if the GTA would be a bit louder than stock but not as loud as the MAC's. If you have any alternatives that would be great.

I have heard nothing but good things about the GTA's. They are standard equipment on the SGTs. From what I have heard from actually listening to a couple of SGTs the main difference between them and stockers is the change in tone rather than volume. I think GTAs would be good for what you are looking for. I'm sure others will chime in too.

I have had both. With the longtubes I would go with the Maggies. That is what I am running. I wish you could see the vids of all of the above combinations but the crash took care of that.

I have heard Scott's LT/magna combo and it's pretty dang good. Uh at least for an old man's car.

No seriously though it sounds good.

I remember those vids. The maggies did sound alot better than the GTAs with your set-up.

My Magnaflows are great. I've also had Corsa, which were relatively quiet too. The GTA's would also be much quieter than the Macs.

Hey thanks for the responses. I think I'm going to go with the magnaflows. Just need to find a used set and I'm golden.

I have JBA longtubes and o/r h-pipe, with the Macs. I love the sound but finally threw in the towel given the overall volume. Sitting in the garage for installation is a new set of magnaflows. I'll let you know what I think.

Corsa Exhaust

Corsa is the way to go without the drone. The system has the awsome sound when you want it and mild when you don't. Normal driving is when it is mild and put the go pedal down for the big growl. I have the Sport and love them but if you want more growl get the Xtreme model. The exhaust tips are the best looking on the market and are very high quality all around.

I have magnapacs and would love to trade for the mac's but you being in Hawaii would suck on the shipping.

A pair of resonators would take the edge of also, and be much cheaper.

I would just keep the magnapacs. I have heard the MACs in person and I agree they do sound good, but not any better than the magnapacks. Besides from what I have read and what people have told me personally, the drone is almost too much.
