I have a stock 05 GT and am looking for a cheaper alternative to hand held tuners and a decent 89octane tune. On SCT's website they advertise tuned chips but I can't find them. I seen a Jet performance chip for 199 just not sure these are worth it. Anyone dyno these?
I'd like to find an Xcal 1 cheap. I know someone has to have one lying around.

 

Tuner isn't going to do much for you with a stock car, waste of money. You'd get more gains out of a K&N air charger that requires no tune.

 

As far as I know you cant "chip" the spanish oak PCM, only reflash/retune it with a tuner.

Cheap work isnt good.

Save your money, buy an SCT or Diablo on the basis of what your local reputable shop tunes with and put your car on their dyno. You will not be sorry.

Ask me how I got 300 hp and 305 ft/lbs on a Mustang Dyno with a JLT intake and Hooker Header long tubes? Oh, I forgot the throttle body spacer.
