Need help choosing Mickey Thompson ET streets
What is the difference between the Mickey Thompson ET street radials![](http://static.summitracing.com/global/images/prod/large/mtt-3754r_w.jpg)
and the regular Mickey Thompson ET streets?![](http://static.summitracing.com/global/images/prod/large/mtt-3757.jpg)
Besides the obvious tread differences....can you drive both of them on the street? If so, which one is better? Thanks!!

They are both DOT legal so they can both be legally driven on the street. Assuming you are getting 17", the 3743R (top one) is a radial and the 3743 (bottom) is biasply. The 3743R is more of a street tire because it has sidewall strength being a radial. The biasply 3743 has zero sidewall strength so no taking corners.
That being said the biasply tire is stickier than the radial so it is better for racing, however it is more of a race only tire. It's role is primarily as a drag slick made DOT legal for DOT tire classes. You can drive on them to the track if you want but take it easy and don't get stuck in the rain.
The radial is good on the street however they will only last about 5k miles on a daily driver.
So that's the difference

Awesome! Thanks guys. Sounds like I need the radials. I want to be able to drive them to the track, which is a 45 minute drive on the interstate. Then be able to drive home.
