Need Gauges.....

I'm gonna need some gauges for my S/C. I want the gauges to match identical to the stock speedometer, with a chrome bezel ring around the gauges. Need a Boost/Vac and Fuel Pressure gauge.

anyone know what the closest set of gauges are and the best place I get get them for a great price??

The s197 cars I have seen run autometer gauges. Most of which them have chrome bezels around them. If you have the IUP with my color, then Autometer Nexus gauges are the way to go. really pricey, but they can match the dash colors really well. it's about $200 per gauge and $200 for the nexus brain controller. Or go cheaper, my friend has sport comp series, I think and they look pretty clean. I run cobalts. just remember SOS pods are 2 1/16 inch. I screwed myself with a wideband gauge a few weeks ago.

Am I missing something about your question here. If you look at the link you provided, the brand is right there. They are made by Speed Of Sound.

the pillar pod is speed of sound llc. SOS, to the best of my knowledge, doesn't make gauges. I think those gauges in the picture are autometer. I just don't know what series.

I think they are sport comp gauges from autometer. look at their website to see if they are what you are looking for. Like I said, my friend runs boost and fuel pressure and they look real clean.

edit: found a picture at jegs.com

I think the Gauges on the SOS page are the Sport Comp series, but I think the NEXUS gauges are top notch! I'm running the Boost/Vac and Fuel Pressure Gauges as well as the Raptor Shift Light all nestled within the SOS Gauge Pillar!

I got mine from Thunderbolt Motorsports on Ebay. They had unbeatable prices! I saved about $100 total on both gauges and controller!

gotta love EBAY!

i went on, they didnt have many of the sport comp II gauges but they had a TON of the Cobalt Gauges. And I managed to snag a BOOST/VAC gauge for $60 all hardware included and a 100PSI Fuel Pressure Gauge for $150 all wires included! saved myself 65 bucks from all other vendors that included shipping as well. the thing that i was trying to find a low price was the fuel pressure gauge, and everywhere I went was $200, but managed to find a snag deal for $150.

cant wait to get these!

I will say that I run the Autometer Nexus Gauges in mine.I will also say that we at B&M just released a line of "Black out" series gauges that not only look very nice and match well in the S197's, we won "Best new Interior Accessory" item for them at SEMA. They have a very nice trim ring around them as well. Also our pricing on them is much better than any of the competitors..For example our new Fuel Press gauge retails at $99 and a street price of about $70!..Let me know if anyone is interested and I'll post a pic or two..

was the vac/boost gauge electric or mechanical. if it was electric full sweep, that was a steal. congrats.

edit: NM, had to be mechanical

for black and red theme you would probably want something like the Nexus ones.. Here is a quick pic of the new Fuel Pressure gauge. It is a "White-ish" tone during the day with a "blueish" irridium color at night and completely "Blacked out" when not in use..They do look really cool in the cars we have put them in so far and you can't beat the price...
