Not that it matters, but that would be roughly 450hp at the crank.
That could be a N/A Cobra killer
Who knows though since it's sporting 20's.

What kind of $$$'s are involved with the engine mods to make those kinds of HP #'s?

I'm interested in the cost and numbers at the track. ... more pictures are always good as well. Did he get any pictures of the installation?

I might be interested in adding similar parts to my car when I get it.

Mods should move this to S197 Tech and Performance section where more people will comment. I'd like to find out $$$'s and many people there will have many opinions.

I just posted it over there in the tech section.

We'll see what happens.

I have a prototype thottlebody and the adj. solid lifters that are going in the car as soon as it gets back from sema, then we'll re dyno the car and make any changes needed in a retune so that we can hit that 400rwhp N/A goal.

as soon as that is acheived, we're going to rip apart the motor... build up the bottom end, probably a 5.1L Modular Stroker Long Block, then we'll finally get that procharger D1-SC on the car and throw some 18lbs. of boost through it. We are hoping to hit the 600rwhp mark with that. Then after that, we'll give it a little more fuel, since we do have the ZEX kit ready and waiting... and for fun we'll do one dyno pull spraying it as well... maybe a 100-125 shot.

700rwhp daily driven 05 mustang???

Johnny be careful acording to SHM the stock block won't last long with over 600hp. Hey add the BMR carbon fiber drive shaft it is supposed to free up about 17hp.

A Mezier electric water pump couldn't hurt the dyno #s either.

;-) we actually have our own that's going on. It's on Blow-By's Site. It's actually a little cheaper than Mezier's.

Sweet, i saw you're car at the Englishtown, NJ FFW. You should run it their next year, i'd love to see it in action. It looked incredible besides that bump in the hood, i think it should have an open front so it acts as a scoop, but thats just my .02 cents

Awesome, I'll do that tomorrow. I called last Friday and I think it was Chris who I talked to.

BTW Was putting the Stage 3 clutch in a choice or was it needed. I remember KB said the clutch could hold up to about 530hp.
