My Rear Is Freezing Up
Iv'e noticed when I don't drive the car for a few days and then back up it(rear end) sticks then clunks once the clutch is all the way out. This only happens when the car is sitting for a few days. Would this be the same problem as others were having with the binding diff? I'm wondering if the hypoid additive would remedy this, or the stuff that smells like dead dinosuars as Kevin would say.
I'm bringing it to the dealer next week for the 1st oil change so I figure that would be a good time to put the additive in, if it's needed.

My guess is it's the parking brake pads on the rear sticking to the rotors. If you leave your car sitting for a couple of days, a small amount of corrosion forms on the brake surfaces. This is normal. Next time you park it a couple days, don't set the parking brake, just leave it in gear, and see if that makes any difference.
Hey guys, I just got mine out after sitting in the garage for 14 days and I think you are right on the parking brake comment. Mine was set and I found it reacted a little bit rough too.
