Out of the 10 grand children we have I'll bet one of them would like a Mustang to drive.

if i had a kid i would buy him on of these, paint it black, paint the seats black, put LEDs in with a working headlight switch that turn the headlight and fogs on and red LEDs for the brake lights.

A word of warning...in person they don't look nearly as good as they do in the pics. The one in their pics has been painted and detailed. In reality it's molded in color that's not as bright nor as glossy. Of course they're still loads of fun for the kiddos...

Heh, my 4 year old niece has had one for some time. We took the little speed control screw out and glued some rubber strips to the rear tires for more traction, so she has drag radials and a tune....My brother stuck a Summit racing sticker on it and she told him to take off the dumb sticker He used to disconnect the battery but now she just pops the hood and reconnects it.

We gave my 6 year old one for her birthday - we had it waiting for her at a local car show as a surprise for her. She showed it off to everyone that walked by.
These cars are cool - they spin the tires just like the big cars!

I've got a grandaughter ariving in a couple months. She'll be gettin one of those. Although considering she isn't even born yet I may have to wait till shes tall enough to reach the pedals LOL.

I have to keep my son's unplugged. Otherwise he would be banging into my car in the garage, and we don't want to go there

We left the battery out at the show so she wouldn't drive into a car.
She was lifting the hood to make it look like my car with the hood up. She would invite people over to look at her car and then have them look at my car.

I like the 64W's on that one My niece's is white with pink stripes so she's running the WIP version.

Wow. That's pretty detailed. Nice.
When I was a little kid (physically) I had a powerwheels jeep. My dad stuffed two full-sized automotive batteries into it in parallel. The thing was almost faster than a bicycle. Wiring had to be redone after a while, though. Nothing like fried wiring to kill braincells...but at least I know where my speed-craving came from.

Question:
My little guy's 2nd B-Day is this coming Sunday. I would LOVE to get him a black one to match Dad's.....however, he is pretty tall for his age. 38"
Will he be too big??
I have seen several parents comment on the Toyz R Us page, complaining that the car is too small. My guy is already the size of a 3-4 year old in weight/height. Just wondering if he'll fit in it ok. At $300, I would like him to at least get a full year out of it, or more.
Thanks
