MRT Hood Strut question???
I have the MRT's and have no trouble closing the hood. I usually lower it down by hand and latch the secondary, then give it a little push and the primary will catch easily. The struts were easy to put on and function great.

I don't think you can drop it to latch, just something I don't want to do, lol. I'm worried my fiberglass hood might crack.
They don't work well with after market fiberglass hoods, they tend to bow the hoods up from the fender line when closed.
Also when you change your cabin air filter, you will now need to take the passenger side lower mount off. No biggie.
I only put mine on for shows, but still love them.
