MPG for your Mustang GT?
Well I'm completing getting 06 GT later in the year and I was curious to see what type of MPG you where getting out of your cars. I know my old 98 GT got about 23-25 MPG with my commute to work (mostly country back roads doing about 50-60 MPG) and my craptacular Super fuel Eating SVT Focus gets about 25 MPG.
So when you give your MPG, state your driving conditions (highway, stop and go etc anything else that would effect it) just curious to see what your getting.
thnx

After 4000 miles of overall driving I was getting 18mpg, then added the K&N and over about 300 miles was getting 19mpg, then added a tune, only have about 100 miles on the tune and im at 17mpg, but based on what I see it going up and down driving highway and around town I am guessing once I get more miles on after the tune I think I will be getting around 18mpg. When I drive it hard or sit in traffic now it goes down rather fast, but highway driving makes it go up rather fast too.
17-18mpg daily commute (combination of surface streets/freeway in SoCal)
23-24mpg with cruise control set between 75-80mph.
Note: I have 4.10 gears.

19-20 mpg combined city/highway driving and some stop and go for traffic. 23mpg on the only highway trip so far...drove about 75-80mph with quite a few stomps on the gas to get around all the left lane squatters.

23-25mpg......About 80% highway miles
I've never checked it on just city miles.......Everything is so rural here that I'd have to ride around the block for half a day to check that.

5-speed with 4500 miles on the odo.

I get on average 20-22 mpg, with combo city and highway driving. I fill up once a week, since gas is so high I usually fill up when I am down about 10 gallons, probably would be once every week and a half to two weeks if I got down lower in gas. I drive pretty easy on it especially in the city, that is when I see my mpg go down. When I am on the highway I go about 75-80mph. I shift at around 3000 or so.
I get 23-25mpg on highway trips. I drive approximately 300 miles roundtrip almost every weekend. One weekend I got 27mpg
. I don't have the message center thing, so i have to use the old method after a fillup to empty. During the week, I get approximately 19 mpg with about 50% city/highway. I have a 5 spd manual and don't really drive it that hard unless someone provokes me :P.
