well your original point was that people who drive V8 mustangs don't care about their mpg. i don't believe that's true considering we are posting in a thread about mileage concerns. i certainly care about my mpg, although it didn't affect my decision to buy the car. just my thoughts, don't take offense.

But if you REALLY CARED you'd wait until you could afford (if you cant now) a little 4 banger to drive to work in and have the mustang waiting on you when you get home.
BUT then again were all in different situations so maybe we need to stop arguing lol

That's about what I'm getting too... Just checked the car... current stats... 13.4 mpg. The car is a blast to drive but if you're worried about gas mileage... maybe you should buy a Kia.

When I put a Kenne Bell on my '95, the mileage slightly improved. I got just over 18 mpg in it where I used to get about 17. Of course, I tuned it and made sure the timing and MAF were spot on for my car. Thats a benefit of supercharging. Your gas mileage can improve while normal driving. Maybe not as much on these newer engines?? Now...if you have your foot in it all the time, that's another story as under boost, it is going to be programmed to run a lot richer.

I get just over 20 in my '06 GT.
