MotoBlue RS Mufflers

Last week I decided to give the MotoBlue RS a try from RPM Outlet since the mufflers were only 150 bucks! Well they came today and they look pretty nice, not top quality but it looks good. The welds are clean and the 4" tips look like the FRPP stinger tips but w/o the embossing on them. Tomorrow I will install them and post more pics with a video hopefully to go along with it. Stay tuned!!!

Are they T-409, T-304 SS or aluminized steel? It looks aluminized especially at that price.

Are you able to determine who made the mufflers? I ordered the SS series from RPM outlet. They were actually Pypes Violaters. They sound pretty good and the tips are a major improvement over stock.

The sound quality is excellent with these RS mufflers, I couldn't be happier with them. A lot more aggressive than the stockers and much throatier!! I did notice drone at about 2k rpm, it's not bad though, just while cruising you might want to stay above or below 2k rpm if your not used to any kind of drone. If you have ever been in an '05 with SLP LM's and an OFFROAD H, then this droan will be nothing compared to that!! I would recommend these axle-backs to anyone interested in upgrading the sound of their S-197's! Great price and great sound!! Now thats left is to install my OFF ROAD H pipe in the spring and we'll see how that sounds!!!

Nice job! Why are you going to wait til spring to put on the h-pipe? Is your mustang hibernating for the winter?!

Thats not bad,not bad at all.I had thought of stuffing a pair of short Smitty's right before the axle and then straight pipes w/stainless tips out the back which would cost about $300.00.Thats an excellent value for a buck 50.I'm pretty sure when the packing blows out they'll be even louder.

No tinny sound here, prolly just the quality of the video....its not the best video. I love the sound and the video doesnt capture the true sound anyway....sounds much better in person..especially cold start up...it idles sweeet!! At least I like it!! You cant get any better quality for the price!!! I'll try and put on the H-Pipe by friday..but no gaurantees tho since it is December and bout 20 degrees out!!!! haha
