Ron (spyder) has about the fastest n/a car on the stock longblock I've seen so far. He is in the 12.1-12.2's.

He has really focused on weight shaving and that has helped him a lot.

No bottle, no S/C, no turbo, no head work.

Keeping the motor buttoned-up, what is the most you guys have seen?
I would say 300rwhp +/- 5HP and 300lbs of torque +/- 5lbs.

It costs a lot of money to get there though.

I think if I had it to do all over again I would have bought the V6 and put a super charger or turbo on it from the difference in pricing. You could set up a V6 for under $10K.

Any idea who much more power I might get with my current mods if I added LT headers and high-flow cats? Would I get the full 20 hp, or not??

One thing I have noticed is that the HP increases are not always additive. For instance an exhaust may make 20 HP and a CAI with a tune may make 30 but when combined on the same car they don't always add to 50... Most of the time you'd be lucky to get anywhere near that.

Yeah, I know you can't add it up to get a total, that's why I was asking about what LT headers would do in my particular case
