Modular Depot CAI/Tune people, how do you like it?

I am just curious how the people on this forums who have purchased the MD CAI and mail order tune think of it?. I am in the market for a CAI and a tune.

Do any of you have expierence with other mail order tunes? ie brenspeed, tillman, bama etc.? if so how does it compare to Kens tune at MD?

thanks!

Steve

Steve, if I was just getting into the market for a CAI, I would have definitely went with the Modular Depot setup. They are putting down some wicked power and they look awesome!
I was running a 93 tune on a C&L street CAI from one of the three tuners you mentioned. Then I found Modular Depot, and havent looked back!! Ken's 93 tune put down a lot more power than my other tune and I couldnt be happier. I highly recommend Modular Depot. Ken is an awesome tuner!
Hope that helps!

Had it on for 6 weeks now....with the 87 tune..........the only problem is resisting the rush of floorboarding...the torque is wide, high, and flat....no going back....

I've had mine on since Christmas. Install is self explanitory and easy. Used to have issue with cold start, high rev on 07-08 but modified tune took care of problem. I ran a 93 for awhile but for a DD backed it down to 87 tune. Car loves to rev at 2500 to the limit. And so do I

BTW Steve, Polished looks great with Vapor!

Anyone have any pics? I didn't see a picture of the Modular Depot CAI on their site.

Thanks.

I didn't pay attention the ad on the main page yesterday, I just went straight to the induction section. When I clicked on Modular Depot CAI Mustang GT it didn't show a picture...my bad.

I've had mine on for about 2 months now and I am extremely happy with the results, I am using the 93 tune and that coupled with the new 4:10 gears really made the car come alive. Below are pics of my install, the install is very easy and quick and I only ran into 1 problem the PCV hose for the PS valve cover was to short in the kit. I was however able to remove 1 end from the original hose and the new hose slips right over it very tight, this allow me to keep the factor locking retainer for a much better hold.
