Modified stock air box?

Has anyone modded their stock air box for more flow? I'm considering fabbing up some kind of ram air setup using the stock air box, and maybe altering the stock air box for more flow.

I personally don't know but I imagine that would cause a few MAF warnings if it's not retuned.

I tried my Black -N-Decker Blower once, just as I removed the box to put in a K&N CAI it sorta worked in the driveway , but the power for it would have been a bugger.lol

I plan to have it retuned. I started a different thread about locating a tuner in my area.
