Mod time again :-)

Ok , so I just got done my latest mod ventures, and I am in the process of taking it to the body shop this week to get the CDC Aggressive Chin Spoiler painted and getting the decals put on (long story...if you want to know, go to the Exterior Mod section and search).

Anyway, I was thinking about the BBK Ceramic Long Tube Headers and the BBK Shorty (catted) X Pipe.

At that point, the CDC Shaker System and the FRPP Hot Rod cams would be next...that would probably be done either this fall or wait until next spring. What do you guys think??? I have the BBK CAI and I have the TB laying around, haven't had a chance to put it on yet. Same with Doug's SCT X3 and 93 tunes. I will probably do the tune tomorrow and the TB sometime next this week or next weekend.

If I do decide to get the headers and the x pipe, I will have a speed shop or dealer put them on for me.

At this point the cams are most likely worth the biggest bang...the longtubes will come in second. What do you want...horsepower or sound?

Hmm thats true. I want both , but I would prefer the sound first! Anyone else have any opinions on which headers/x pipe I should get? Is the BBK combo any good?

I run the same BBK combo and I love it. I go back and fourth every day whether I wan to keep the RACE Tone that is found with the X or switch it out for more of an old school sound with the Prochamber but the one thing that is ALWAYS constant is the immense power increase especially over 3K with the addition of the Headers/X

Aside from the PITA Install, I would do it again in a heartbeat

I think I will end up pulling the trigger on these in the fall. I will most likely take em to be installed at Tillman or something. I will have to find a place.

I have the same magnaflow too and love it, you can usually get a used one on ebay or cragislist. I wanted a valid warranty so I got it here. Magnaflow 16963. Also some of the forum sponsors usually have a sale going on. Either way its a great exhaust system, sounds great, and very easy to install.

I like my Hooker uncoated; cheap, no fitment problems, and work.

I dont see the coating being worth the coin... JMO

This is the one downside to the hack from a month ago in regards to old threads. Alex sold his Mustang and how owns a G8 (he needed a 4-door car).
