Mod Time...
What's up fellas,
Quick question. I am getting ready to mod the 'Stang and need some opinions.
Should I get the C&L CAI with the SCT2 from Brenspeed or the JLT with the SCT2 which is like $100 bucks cheaper? I hear they both put out the same numbers.
Next, I was thinking of going with MAC axlebacks since Brenspeed says they get 12's with the MAC and C&L together and tune. I like the MAC's but are the Bassanni BX's any good? I like the unpolished ones.
Finally, is that Pypes Emissions Legal X Pipe any good?
Any other beginning mods you guys can think of?

I like the look of the C&L intake better, but both will make the same power. The Mac's sound awesome Don't know about the Pypes x pipe I run the Mac prochamber. For other beginning mods you could go with some UDP's or some delete plates. What about suspension.. Lowering is a good start....Then it balloon's from there
As far as the intakes go, it's all a matter of personal preference. Now between the C&L and the JLT2, looks are going to be the only difference. The JLT2 is a great intake, I had it on my GT, but it is very basic, not flashy at all. I think the C&L would be the way to go if you're going to be popping your hood a lot to show off.
With the axle-backs, again, just a matter of personal preference. None of them make any REAL power, it's all about the sound. Do some searches on this site, check YouTube, and listen to as many exhausts in person as you can, then make your decision.
As Glemin05 said, for power mods, the CMDP delete plates are another good, relatively inexpensive mod (around $140 I believe) that add several HP, same with the UDP's.
