Which months issue is this in?
Oct, issuse, I picked it up last night. I find it really hard to believe those power gains are all without the use of a different tune, and the fact that the mods didnt dangerously lean out the A/F.
The aluminum intake cover that BBK makes looks really cool though, if only you could get it w/o the BBK emblem on it.

Just in case some missed it. A group buy on a Billet CNC 62mm Twin TB from LM Performance. Available in 4 anodized colors, red, blue, aluminum and black. Check out the sticky in this section. I think that the BBK is a 60mm? Is that correct? If so, can we expect more from a 62mm version

BTW I am taking donation for the power up James Stang Fund
The Throttle Body's may in fact be a better gain than people anticipated...When I talked to Lightning Force Performance ( The group buy TB) they said they were seeing 12-15 RWHP gain's and even more on car's with opened up exhaust...I ordered one and will be dynoing it. I will post the dyno sheet's for everyone to see exactley what they are worth.

I hate to be a pesimist on any issue but the price of this thing is rediculous no matter who makes it. I have basically gained my horsepower from mod to mod keeping in mind that the magic number for me to be interested in the product is about $25.00 to $30.00 per rear wheel horsepower to be gained and I always figure on the lowest advertised horsepower because I can guarantee that it will be what I gain at best. This TB bieng about $400.00 works out to about $33.00 per hp, and that is with a group discount and giving them the benefit of 12 rwhp to be gained. I think that they are a little steep, even if it is a debut of a new product. I have spent enough money now to be officially an expert at cost vs. gains on my car.

Check out the bottom of RMP Outlet's "dyno tuned power options" for the 2005 Mustang GT. Preditor, C&L intake, u/d pullies & throttle body adds "up to 44 RWHP". Sounds close to what MMFF got. Wonder what the above PLUS headers, low restriction cats & mufflers and gears get ya.....

I, too, was very surprised with the following text in the article:
Page 126
"No laptop or other tuning is needed, as the factory computer automatically compensates for the increased airflow".
I'm no expert, but this seems to contradict what I've read in other magazines and forums.
Can anyone confirm or deny? It sounds too good to be true (not having to retune, that is).

I wonder if this would work with the throttle body spacer too?
