I'd have to see it in the car, but personally, I don't think it fits the S197. I'm sure it looks great in the SN95, but it just doesn't seem to fit the retro feel of the S197. The other ***** you sell for the S197 fit, but I don't think this one does.

I'd like to see it in place also. I like the look in these pictures. I mean if you think about it the stock shifter has no "real" retro-ness to it. In a picture our stock shifter doesn't look out of place in a 350z.

What shaft size does this fit? SAE or metric?

And thus the reason I don't like the stock shifter, either. It looks like something out of a Ford from Europe or Australia.

Funny you should say that, they use it in the new Transit and the Ka. Wouldn't shock me if it was in other euro models with a stick, either.

I dig the race ****, always have. It's not about looking retro, that's why it's called a "race" ****. Some people prefer the pistol grip design. Might have to snag one of these for track day and trips to the Dragon!

George,

Your Composite Race ***** look terrific! A definite step up from the stock ****. When will these be available for purchase?

Actually the European Ford Transit uses the same shifter as the S197 IUP shifter, and I like it. The retro look reminds me of the cheaply made cars of the 70s.
