Meter4It Sequential Lights
I just wanted to inform you all that Meter4It's Sequential/Chase light kit is wonderful and is really a great product. I got it for $129 shipped, got the product installed, and they are REALLY awesome. I opted for the "Chase" set-up, so the lights come on one-by-one and also turn off one-by-one. I think its much cooler than the regular sequential lights. Plus, you can also choose other options, like the stock factory look with ALL three lights turning on! If you guys want, I can post up a video today!
I put them in a couple months ago, too... I love them!! Here is link... and there is a video there: http://www.meter4it.com/2005_Mustang.htm
The intructions are pretty decent, but installation took a fair amount of time. There were two things that were a pain...
Splicing into the rear wiring harnesses was a tough, because Ford used about 15 pounds of electrical tape on them!! It was difficult trying to cut into that without cutting a wire (which I did twice and had to fix).
And running the hotwire was a little frustrating, too. Primarily getting it through the firewall. It took me about an hour to do that part alone. Running it from the firewall back to the trunk wasn't hard, just took a little time to do it nice and clean. I zip-tied it every few inches along the way to make sure it stayed put. Maybe overkill, but I decided to do it right.
Now that it's done, I love the Chase feature, and it was definitely worth the effort... but I was cussing while I was doing it.
