Metallic Highflow Cats...

I know bbk makes their highflow cats with just the metallic substrate in them. Does anybody know who else makes cats like these?

Bassani Comp cats, as used on the SS bassani high flow catted x pipe. I have them matched with the factory h-pipe and love the volume and tone. http://www.ninosport.com/Bassani-Met...&category=1074

Nice! A $150 a piece I might have to get these. did you cut out the stock cats and have these welded in or buy new legs?

I cut out the factory cats, and used the downpipe from the Bassani kit. Basicly just swapped the crossover section from an X to an H.

Ok thanks. It says the cats are 13in. Do you know the length of the cats with the pipes installed over them...

the slip fit ends were about 2 inches each side. One flared female, and one male end. I had to have the h-pipe flared to fit over the cat. The length of the cat from end of downpipe to end of H-pipe is 10.5 inches. So total length is about 12.5 inches.

Adam, you're selling your Magnaflow cats to buy Bassani cats?

Thats what I should have done in the first place. The only regret I have is not spending the extra $ for the longtubes. Do it once, and do it right, get the longtubes.

Adam, the reason why Mac discontinued it's high-flow catted Prochamber, was because Catco whom was the manufacturer of their high-flow cats. Refused to honor warranty claims, and then accused Mac of voiding their warranty policy, which supposedly stated that their catalytic converters were not designed to be used for racing purposes. Therefore as a direct result, Mac then decided it would no longer offer catted Prochambers that are manufactured by other companies.

In the meantime, I was lucky enough to find a vendor who had one high-flow catted Prochamber left in stock. Which was well over 6 months ago.

Anyway, I'll post the links of the 2 vendors in which I located 6 months ago. And perhaps they just might have a catted Prochamber left in stock. Best of luck to you

Adam, when you had mentioned getting a whole new setup. I assumed you meant locating a high-flow catted Prochamber.

At any rate, I now understand where your coming from, and if your willing to pay up to $300 for aftermarket cats. Then of course that always is an option as well. On the other hand, IIRC I believe that Pypes has aftermarket cats for well under $200, so you may want to check out Pypes website and find out for yourself.

Once again, best of luck.
