Hey Everyone,

This may have been discussed before, but for those who have installed Magnaflow Catbacks, what was your impression of the sound over stock??

Just put mine on last weekend. I really like the sound. Not too heavy...really gives the car a more "muscular" sound. I liked the sound of the stock exhaust, but found it just a little too quiet for my taste. For a couple of days after the swap I was wondering if it was now a little louder than what I was wanting, but then either I got used to it or the sound mellowed out a bit...anyway, it's great now! Went for a 200 mile drive this afternoon and let one of my friends drive it for the first time...he commented that he really liked the sound with the Magnaflow Catback much better that the stock. The Magnaflows also give a nice "burbleing" sound on decelleration that I hadn't noticed with the stock setup.

I am glad that I ordered the Magnaflows instead of the MagnaPacks. Think they might have been louder than what I wanted. I know some folks really "want to be heard", and that they might like the louder MagnaPacks...but the "Flows" are perfect for me...

My problem is that I enjoy the sound of my engine and exhaust so much now that I find myself not listening to my Shaker 500 near as much as I thought I would!!!

Rudy, welcome to the forum. I suggest you either search or go into the performance section where there is tons of information on these systems already.
