Well, I finally got around to hitting the track yesterday for the very first time. ..Met up with some friends from lonestarstangs.com and we hit Fun Ford Weekend out in Baytown....One of my bud's Jason was running his 10 sec LX coupe and I had him make a few passes in mine while I videotaped it....He had never driven the car and wasn't used to an auto but I was still pretty pleased with the run....Ran the regular street tires on it and it's had NO suspension work at all to this point....Only able to make two wet passes as it started to rain, but the best was a 13.6 at 102mph...I figure with more practice, some suspension work, and drag radials it'll make 13 flat or high 12's. ....at least I have a baseline now so I'll know what the supercharger and tires really get me when the time comes....hope to have a s/c by the end of the year or first of next year.....I'll run it some more this summer and see what I can get it down to....60 ft. time was 2.0 for those curious and temp. was about 80 degrees.....

LOL figured ya'll would enjoy the ladies...As far as the car, it was the first time it was ever at a track....I really only went to hang out with the group and do some drinking, but for only a 15.00 fee I couldn't pass up seeing how she'd do....Woulda brought out some drag radials if I'd known it would be running...my bud's LX was a four lug so I couldn't take them obviously.....I'll get back out a bunch this summer as he's gonna run about every other weekend getting his dialed in and I can meet him up there...here's a shot of his in case some of you see it out there today and tomorrow:

Well I sure like your car, but that amsoil shirt is pretty nice too. LOL. Just kidding got a few beautiful women hanging around your ride, hopefully one of them is your lady. I have redfire as well. I guess I need my honey to dress up in nice tight clothes and get some shots done. Yah that would be a dream, my gal is so afraid of cameras, and she only weighs a 105 pounds and is beautiful. WEll back to topic, glad your stang is doing well. I like the blackened hood. Havent done too much to mine yet either, tinting, new antenna, new hyper yellow fog light bulbs. Still waiting on good scoops, shaker system to show up.

 

Sounds like you're on the right track Dan! I'm sort of through with motor mods until I get the blower I think.....Spent some good change on a nice Pioneer dvd flip out stereo setup this past week though. My shaker was driving me crazy with all the skipping so I spent some motor mod money to get rid of it...added a power inverter and my PS2 so we had a good time playing Grand Turismo 4 at the track between runs........Now to get back to POWER mods and put back a hundred here and there to save up for the blower....
