Raced a Mach 1 today from about 70 to 140 my 05 stayed right on his bumper, he did not pull away an inch, I was quite proud of my Gt today. She has not let me down yet. He was by himself I had wife and luggage with, so I did have some extra weight.

I had a 04 Mach 1 before my 05, the Mach 1 felt faster and had more of SOTP but I know the GT is as fast.

I drove a lightly modded Mach manual and it didn't feel as fast as my 05. My 05 had a lot more power down low and felt equal up top. The higher redline was sweet though

I know my mods. helped alot, I don't know if he had anything done to his Mach 1, is all I know I stayed with him and at one point I started to gain on him and had to let off a little to keep from getting to close to his bumper.
