Mac or spintech axle back

I have a 2005 mustang gt. I currently have Gibson headers, cut and clamp x pipe and corsa mufflers. It is to quiet for me and was deciding to go with Mac or spintech axle back. Oh yeah and I also have hot rod cams. What would you guys recommend.

i have mac and like them a lot. ditch the x pipe and get a prochamber and mac axle backs. i had my mac axle backs with a off road x pipe and it was crazy loud and raspy.

Magnapacks are a popular choice, but they sound so muffled to me. I prefer the chambered mufflers like Flowmaster and Mac. I got the Pypes offroad H and it definitely adds to the aggressiveness of the sound. Can you just put the stock H with the cats back on for emissions and then put the off road pipe back on afterwards?

Now I'm looking at the SSS terminators. They sound pretty good.

I am one of those who have been through a lot of set-ups including magnapacks and now MACs. I had magnapacks mated with a prochamber and hi-flows. Awesome sounding set-up. Compared to the MACs, it was more of a solid deep sound as the MACs are more of a hollowed deep tone. My current set-up, which is a little unsual is pypes catted X, 12" resonators and MAC. I also have Comp NSR cams. This set-up sounds much better than you would think. My neighbor says my car sounds badass.

What part of Cali do you live?

Actually decided on boom tubes and it sounds awesome. Best sound by far with factory cats.

Pro chamber is legal in California I have the Mac axel back also I did x pipe and it killed the original sound I wanted. don't recommend x pipe unless you want a overbearing obnoxious sound that takes away the sleeper street legal dragster sound and gives the diesel exhaust leak noise.

Mac axlebacks have a great sound but when combined with xpipes can be a bit raspy.

My girlfriend and I believe we have the best combos. I have JBA long tubes, offroad h-pipe, and FRPP Stingers. She has Kooks long tubes, Pypes offroad h-pipe, and FRPP Stingers.

Both of us tried the Macs. They were loud and had a good tone, but the drone was a bit much with our combo (I had NO drone when used with BBK shorties and Bassani catted x-pipe).

I guess it's the glasspacks I have welded in but I have catted X and MACs and I have almost no rasp at all. Of course the Comp Cams help alittle. And there is little to no drone.
Here is a video. Not the best as it was windy
