Mac mufflers installed (the black ones)

The install took me about 3 hours as some of the bolts were extremely hard to reach. I realize that the right tip (when looking at the back of the car) is a little lower than the left, but there was absolutley nothing I could do about it.
This is one of the sweetest sounds I've heard come out of a car in long time. It is so much louder than stock. The drone is a little annoying but its a fair price to pay for all the positives of this setup. Oh, and I repainted the mufflers with a glossy finish, which looks much better than the flat black.

wow, looks really good. I have the MACs off the car while i'm waiting to get some time to grind off the alignment nub on the over-the-axle pipe. I think I may do this! What kinda paint did you get, and from where? I'm assuming you just taped off the tips and other sides of the muffler and spray painted them?

I ran into a similar problem when I installed the GTA's. I just used a rubber mallet to "adjust" the rear most hanger on the muffler a bit. Smack upwards on it if you want the tip to come down a little or smack down on it if you want the tip to come up a bit. It doesn't take much and you can get them perfect.

Sweet. I had the same issue with Stingers also. Had a muffler shop heat the hanger and adjust it for $5

I did two coats with this
http://rustoleum.com/CBGProduct.asp?pid=112 (which can be ffound at any home improvement store)
but I didnt like the flat black looks, so I did another two coats with this http://www.duplicolor.com/products/engine.html (gloss black, which I got at Autozone)

I just drove behind my car while my buddy was driving, and all I have to say is HOLY CRAP. I had a smile on my face the entire time. How ever good the car sounds from the inside, it sounds ten times better from the outside.
