I have borla stingers. They have a similar tone but are noticably louder, i use them on my daily driver. The macs will be fine.

I would be careful with the Macs. I had them on for awhile and loved the sound, but the drone was far worse than the Borlas. I ended up taking them off, I just couldn't handle the drone anymore. The Borlas drone too, but I can tolerate them.

Been running the MAC's on my '07 and absolutely love them!!! I can deal with the drone as I had the Borla Stingers on my '04 and I really can't tell too much of a difference between the two drone wize.

My 06 has the macs. I will say that if you don't like drone, you might want to look elsewhere. But if you can handle it, the sound is almost perfect. I couldn't be happier with it. I make sure to stab the throttle under bridges or running alonside overpasses with the windows down just to make the smile that is already on my face just a little wider.

I have a MAC on my 06 GT and I drive 80 miles a day for work. MAC is by far the best sounding exhaust other than the magnapacks. The only time I experience any drone is when the RPM's drop below 1.5 in fifth. MAC's are loud, but because of the muffler location they don't seem loud while your'e driving. Brenspeed.com has some sound clips of the MAC. Good luck.

Sheesh...... If I get some MAC's, The smile will be BIGGER when I stab it under a bridge ?? I thought I was the only putz that did that..........

Bigger question though, for the 400 bux, should I get the MAC's or donate to Doug for the Bamachip tunes ????

I just got to hear some MACs on a friends car setting beside mine with the Borla Stingers and I must say I think the MAC sound better. They are a little deeper and louder at idle but the Borlas are slightly louder at full throttle. They actually look a little better to due to the tips do not stick out as far as the Borlas. Kinda wished I would have saved a little money over the Borlas and went with the MAC exhaust.

I have the MAC's on my '07 convertible. Yes, they do have drone but the sound is perfect so if you can deal with the drone (no I don't drive mine everyday) then you will be very pleased with the MAC's.

I was going to get the Borlas but after hearing the MAC's, it was obvious which I wanted.

I've had MAC's on my daily driver for almost 2 years and I love them. I've tried an offroad X and H...the o/r H sounds best. There is a drone, but you can quiet that some by installing resonators...

I'll soon get rid of the resonators and put a prochamber and be done with it.
