I wanted to know if there was a lightweight wheel for the strip yet strong enough for normal street duty. Any help?

I would start off with a wide pair for the rear that can fit MT Street Radials, either for a 15 or 17" wheel. I know that a 15" Bogart will fit with a little modification but is there anything else, Weld perhaps?

Also, how much do the stock wheels weigh and how heavy are those Bogarts, 169Stang?

On a bathroom scale, the stock tires weigh 46lbs. The new rear's weigh 37lbs (with a 28x10.5 slick) and the fronts weigh 27lbs. So...I shed 56lbs total and 38lbs of that is off the front end. I just bought a new set of Drag radials yesterday. I'm going to start keeping them on the car.
