I've got about 500 miles on my Kooks now, much more rumble at low end than when I just put them on and also not so raspy or hole in muffler sounding as they were. Car just keeps sounding better and better. Put the hammer down and everyone knows its V8 muscle with headers, my stereo is useless now because I'd rather listen to all the nuances of the exhaust notes.
Congrats man it just gets better.

Fantastic vids. I am still on the fence regarding changing my setup. I want to add headers but I love the sound of my Prochamber. I may bite the bullet and try a Kooks & hi-flo cat setup with my Pypes MM's. I guess I can always go back if I hate it.

Nate, have fun with the headers. I can't keep my foot of the go pedal since I installed them!! The sound is just too addictive.

I guess I'm gonna have to. I know it sounds stupid but I've never seen my car in motion.
A buddy of mine was behind me this weekend as we left the golf course. He was on the phone with his girlfriend with his windows rolled up and the radio on. I took off from the first stop sign at a moderate pace and she tells him "what was that?" Your truck is really loud, and he's like its my friend in his Mustang. At the next stop sign I floor it to beat traffic and she says to him "OMG what does he drive a NASCAR?" So the next time I see him he tells me about it and says WOW! Your car is loud! Not all the time but when you peeled out my girlfirends mom could hear it in the background!!!

i wouldnt call them issues, they just need to be tweaked a little to fit perfectly....
no cutting or welding or major modification needed, just a little bending here and there to get them straight...
from what i have heard though most incur some type of adjusting
