the only things i had problems with were the passenger side top bolts, 2nd from back had to be cut down a little to fit between the tubes and into its hole, and i had to do the same with the driver side bottom bolt, 2nd from back also.....

other than that it went pretty smooth, removed the motor mounts, starter, but did not have to touch the steering linkage at all

Nice, we ended up removing the steering linkage just to create a little more space on the ground- but as you said its not necessary

i went back to the shop yesterday and got her up on the lift so i could see if i could straighten out my exhaust tips, the pass side hanger is about 1/2" too long, and driver side about 1/2" too short...

well i just bent the shiite out of the hangers and got them to line up... now she looks great and sounds even better too, let me explain

the pass side muffler was touching the under side of the car, and that was what was causing all my drone...
hahaha... so i tweaked the system quite a bit and got it all to line up and got the mufflers well away from the body of the car, but it was a pain!!!!
anyone who buys the Pypes MM know that its gonna take some aligning...

but now the drone is all gone, but it still needs broken in..

ill get some more vids up later on when shes broken in good and settles into her sound...

man i love the sound of it

I had the same problem with my Kooks header install. The passenger side muffler tip is touching the rear bumper, I worked on it a little and now it only rubs and rattles when I turn left, right now I'm to lazy to get it back up on stands and fix it so I cross my fingers and wish really hard it'll fix itself.

I hate having that one little thing to fix about a self install and the car not being perfect in my mind till I get it fixed.

i know my tips are not perfect...

the right one hangs probably 1/8th inch lower than the left one, but its not that bad that anyone will notice, and i dont notice enough to complain about it, so im happy with it.

maybe some day i will get extra picky and throw it on the lift again and get it adjusted, but until then i will live with it and just enjoy the sound!
