For the record neither of us are slackers when it comes to working on cars. I am a toolmaker with 32 years experience and he is a helicopter mechanic with 25 years under his belt. Between us we had every tool needed except a hydraulic lift. It is more involved than you might think. I wouldn't trust the work of the cheapest guy out there. I know there are alot of good mechanics amoung us. But this is not a piece a cake 10 minute job guys. At least to do it right. If you ask me....8 hrs @ $75/hr.= $600.00 if a very fair price. After you have done a couple sets you will appreciate the amount of work involved more!!!

He wasn't the cheapest. I had a qoute for $300 from a Mustang shop an hour north of me. But the extra $100 to stay local was worth it. And I also plan on doing more things through his shop so we'll see how he works on this "small" project. The shop owner had his car featured 5.0 magazine. It was putting some sick numbers down.
