Anyone else see the May issue of 5.0? It has a short article on the Livernois Motorsports ported heads towards the back. Peak gain of 40rwhp at about 6,000rpms from the heads alone, but very nice gains from about 3,500rpms up to the redline in both rwhp and torque.

Wonder what a nice set of cams would do for this setup...

I was reading it yesterday. Great gain.

They said that they can take your 3valve assembly and do it for 1,595 or have new ones done for 2,195

The prices include a 3 angle valve job.

I'm hearing that install on a new set of heads is running about $2,000 due to the necessity of engine/tranny removal. Makes a good cheap set of $1500 heads seem pretty darn pricey. Anyone know if this is true?

Why would they have to pull the Engine to R&R the heads????
I don't remember seeing anything about that in the service manual.

You can pull the heads without removing the engine.
