Maybe I just never grew up...and at 54 I probably never will... but at least once every time I drive my GT the OD + traction control are turned off and I light up the tires hitting redline in at least the first two gears.

i agree....the rev limiter is set too low. it seems like right as it is coming alive you start bouncing off the rev limiter.

Sounds ok to me! I see your native to me in Fremont! I think I've seen you parked in thew Albertson's parking lot on Mission!

Could be me...that's where I buy my Jack and Bud [img]style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrinjester.gif[/img]

Ever use the dead end road that goes south from the junction of Grimmer and Old Warm Springs Blvd? Good for a quick run now and then.

I used to all the time! We called it the donut court!

Not anymore though! I try to keep it at the drag strip, but Mission Blvd and Automall can be quite tempting!!!

Great post! I've been doing the same thing since I was 15. You really never get it out of your system. I'm 51 and intend to light em till the day I die.
