This legit? Wilwood big brake kit?
I emailed Wilwood a while ago and they said they were considering making a kit for the 2005, their website still doesn't have any info about the 2005 mustang. I found this though:

Any thoughts?

Wow, I lose for not noticing that. I checked the application guide which lists nothing for the 2005 mustang. Anyway, thanks for the link, much appreciated.
Now to decide between that, the stoptech and the baer system.

Is it driven in lots of rain and/or snow?
The Wilwoods don't have any dustboots on the pistons. If I were driving it daily in lots of rain and /or any snow I would look to see if the Baer or Stoptech have dustboots.
What makes the Wilwoods attractive to me is that the replacement rotors are about $200.00 each. I don't think the others are that inexpensive.

Yes daily driver and yes, lots of rain in south florida.
I looked at the Wilwoods. After some research and some advice from someone who deals with BBK's on a regular basis I have come to conclude that they are JUNK.
Just my opinion.
Jon
P.S. I bought a StopTech 14in BBK. It seems to me that they have put the most RD into the Mustang kit.

Wilwood has always had a pretty good brake setup for some of their higher end calipers. They are more geared towards a lower priced race caliper than something like a StopTech or Brembo. I wouldn't worry about the dust boots to much if you are going to open track the car as you will burn them off on the first day on the track.
With that said....StopTech has some amazing brake kits out there with customer service to match.
