KB Boost-A-Spark

I'm about to install the KB BAS module this weekend. I got it all figured out except for the part where you tie it into the coil circuit. How do you get the under hood power center out to get to the bottom
connectors? Anybody install one of them? Any help would be great so I don't butcher this up.....

Thanks

Not sure where that line in the sand is at but I have seen a number of S197 Stangs running 475-500 rwhp on the stock ignitions with no issues. Not that it is a bad idea. I ran one on my KB boosted 96 Cobra. But this coil on plug system is way better.

Chris Rose claims I am not making enough HP due to spark voltage being too low. Instead of replacing the whole engine wiring harness (which I will do down the road) because of an intremittened short which causes a voltage drop, I decided to give the BAS a try (It's only $225.0) and see if anything changes with the increased spark voltage. I mounted it over the weeken but did not have the ba**s to splice it in, that's where Tillman is comming in.............

We'll see how the B-A-S does... I really don't even know if it's going to solve the problem or not.

I think it's an intermittent wiring issue, honestly...

Your spark PID shows exactly what we're asking for, the air/fuel ratio is dead on, the rest of the datalog is perfect... there's really only one thing it could be... ignition. We tried different coils and plugs with no luck, it has to be in a connector or a ground or something not adding up in the harness.

I don't think the B-A-P will fix the problem, but I'm curious to see if it "tricks" it.

Chris
