Last night I put the HC trap back in the car, took it for a spin and there was no detonation. I was thinking that the A/F mixture must be alittle diferent for cars built without the HC Trap installed. My car was built on 01-06-2005 so it had the trap. I was wondering if other people who are using the K&N CAI are having the same trouble without the HC Trap installed? The car is running great, lot of pull!
