K+N carb certified CAI...where???

I am trying to purchase this CAI, it is part # 57-2535, K+N has it in stock, but they want a fortune for it. I called a couple of parts houses and they dont have it yet. It is the exact CAI as their 63 part # which is the air charger. I plan on selling it after the warrany is up and getting a C+L or JLT, I am assuming the carb/ street legal one will be the one desired since they are phasing out the aircharger.
Does anyone have the aircharger CAI? How do you like it? I was going to do this and Dougs tune.....
Thanks...Dave

dave, dont worry about the warranty now. the tune loads over the whole ecu computer. you can put the c&l on, return and drive around. if you have any issues, just relaod the stock tune and put the stock airbox back and take it to ford. they will never know.

That part number is for a Ranger CAI. I don't have one in my Ranger, but I do have part#63-2565 aircharger in my Mustang which seems to work very well. It lists for about $300, look around you may find a better price. I bought mine slightly used.

Get the JLT and Doug's tune! Quit worrying about your warranty.

well the simple solution would be to tow the car home if you had a problem, reinstall the stock airbox, then have it towed to ford lol
