Well, I just installed SLP Loudmouths.
It took me 3 hours total.
I know, I know, some of you did it in under 30 mins but I'm not a gear hear and had less than optimum tools.
The hardest problem was trying to get the bolts off. Some were in rediculously hard places to get to. I had to virtually be a contortionist to undo some of the bolts.
Well, i'm proud of myself for doing it myself

I've got a problem folks :bang:
My wife doesn't like the new sound and she wants me to put back the stock mufflers tommorow :notnice:
She thinks it's way too loud
I guess I gotta put back the stock mufflers
I'll have a barely used SLP Loudmouth for sale very soon. If anyone is interested, pls leave me a message.
Sometimes I wish I was single again

Ummmm....I'm probably going to overstep my bounds here, slap me if you will.
How do YOU like it?
Ask her if she would like it if you decided that you didn't like something that she wanted or was very interested in.... would she just get rid of it because you didn't like it  I'm thinking no.
Just my .02, don't cave if YOU like it.

Is there any possibilty I could return it for a refund ?
I bought my SLP LM from rpmoutlet.com
I might want to exchange it for the SLP Power-Flos if I can.

I cant believe you would cave that easily. If you cant get out of it by reasoning that strong relationships are all about compromise you need to hold this grudge in a lock box for when your wife does something that you dont like. Women (and men for fairness) can be selfish and Im willing to make a bet that she wouldnt give up so easily if you told her to get rid of something. She might even lie about getting rid of something.

Ordinarily I would not have caved in so easy but my wife is deaf in one ear due to a recent brain surgery to remove a benign tumor. For those who are interested, it was an “acoustic neuroma” which is a benign tumor which grows on the hearing nerve.
Anyhow, she’s not very tolerant of the SLP loudmouths and I can sort of understand that now that she has only one functioning ear.

Not belittling you but I agree with 66. Do what ya gotta do but dayum, there should be some compromise, thats what relationships are about. It can't always be all or nothing and the sound of the mufflers are not that much louder than stock geez.
I guess I'm just really lucky, my girlfriend loves the sound and we have never been at a point where we could not compromise.
