Just installed MAK offroad pipe.
I just installed the MAK offroad pipe.Even on jack stands it took only one hour.Best tip....Remove the Battery and Battery tray to access the green O2 censor plug. Car sounds Awesome
with the Magnaflow mufflers I already had on.Definately freed up some horsepower.Seat of pants, feels faster and more powerful.Cant wait to get on Dyno again.
Also, pretty loud. This car is not my everyday driver so i dont mind.If you have to commute to work it could become annoying.
Tools required.15mm socket/long extension/swivel/and 8mm socket to remove all Battery parts.

Was crusing tonight and cant believe how good the car sounds.
...And sound clips
Throttle performance seems more crisp and the car definately pulls better.Burns second a little longer now.Dyno will tell the difference.

Why did you take the battery out? You can get to all the 02 sensors from under the car.

Not my car.The upper passanger side o2,s plug is up HI behind the motor.Yes i probably could of unscrewed it and swisted the wires, but i like to unplug them and take them out when the pipe is out.My hands did not fit between the body and engine to unplug the upper green plug.Took 5 minutes to remove battery and then it was looking right at you.

I used my friend's lift and air tools, so it may have been a lot easier. I put a wrench up there and broke it, then removed it with my hands. The MAK x-pipe sounds great. I have to get back under sometime this week and bend the right hangar, since it is rattling against the subframe.
Any downfalls to this pipe? I've been thinking of getting it to go with my stock mufflers.
How's the fitment to the stock manifolds and cat-back system?
Any rattles or leaks?
I wonder how well it will stand up to winters in Ohio (this is my daily driver after all).
