I'm trying to install my nexus gauges and I need any easy way to connect the power lines. I don't see anything on the fuse blocks that would be real easy. Am I going to have to cut into the wires? I need 1 continous power line and 1 power line that is on with the ignition. Anyone done this yet?
Thanks for any help.

I only did the physical install myself but power is done with a fused link to the battery and the lights are wired to the brake parking lights. The shop that did it for me got the wiring schematics from Ford. Sorry I can be more specific.

I figured it out.
I wired directly to the fuse block on the passenger side kick panel.
For the continuous 12 volt, I wired to the motion sensor pins.
For the ignition 12 volt, I wired to the OD switch pins.
Gauges are in and get power and do all the fancy things they're supposed to (change colors, etc. Autometer Nexus series) but I have yet to hook up the sending units. I will be doing my first oil change tomorrow, and when oil is drained I will hook up the oil pressure fitting. And as soon as I can find the water temp unit, I'll hook it up! Can anyone tell me where it's located? Thanks!

Yeah, yeah! Here you go.

Just a couple of the different colors it changes to, kinda like mycolor.
The the third gauge in the pod will have a boost gauge when I get my supercharger. Also I am planning on getting the pod painted silver to match the dash. The gauges have power right now but I won't be hooking them up to the motor until I do an oil and a coolant change in a day or two.

One more snap.
Plus a shot of my Steeda hood and Roush front bumper.
Pictures aren't great, I plan on taking nice photos of the whole car one day soon.

That's exactly what I want to do with my performance white Jeff, it looks as nice as I pictured it with the 3 gauge pod.... awesome work, great choice with the NEXUS
