Just had Magnaflow X-Pipe installed......
#1
Well after being gone for a week I finally had the opportunity to have my magnaflow x-pipe installed today. Purchased off of High Horse Perf., a local business around where I live. They recommended for me to have it installed at a local muffler shop, which I did, and watched the guy do the whole thing. Got in the car afterwards and left the shop and first impression was WOW, this car pulls like crazy now. But right away I noticed a ticking noise coming from the exhaust. Is this normal now with the free flowing exhaust? Not sure if it's a leak? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

When you guys are installin these new pipes, are the shops giving you grief for removing the stock cats? Also what kind of power increases are you getting with this xpipe? The stock system looks so efficient how could you get more than a few ponies.

I talked to one shop about installing the x-pipe for me and he gave me a leaflet made up by the Feds indicating his fine if caught doing so. End of conversation
As far as power, mine didn't show any improvement on the dyno. The x-pipe sound though is worth the money IMO.
