I don't see why they couldn't keep that design but put a sidewall on it so it doesn't look so bad?

Further down the page there is a picture of one with sidewalls. The tire without the sidewall can only be for testing and show. Imagine all the road debris that thing would sling around!

If they have less rolling resistance as the article claims, they're a better design for street and strip.

thats an old story but ya they are missing the side wall for show only so people can see how they work, and to answer your question i would roll on that kind of tire

hmmm, nope, not me, I'll use air, wht it costs 50 cents make if one tire is losing air to re-fill it???

Maybe, just need to wait a few years to get a full evaluation.
I know they perform well, now it needs to be tweaked for the market.
