Correct, the dyno has a weatherstation built in to all Dynojets that factor these in. Most Mustang Dynos have them as well, but they're listed optionally.

To add to CR's comment, if no Correction Factor is applied (will display 'Uncorrected'), the HP and TQ values are actual numbers being registered at that moment, temperature, humidity, etc.

For example, to some, it's helpful to know exactly what kind of power they're putting to the ground on a hot and humid track day. Dyno'ing it in the same weather condition will yield that result.

Theoretically, 'Uncorrected' results will be unrepeatable throughout the day as temperature and humidity changes.

I am curious why these numbers aren't in-line with my car. Sure I put about $18,500 into the standard GT/CS, but my car was tested at 600rwhp. I'll have to look at the invoice to get the exact rwtq number. I guess its the various modifications and the twin turbo I put on it.

Hey Shea,

Welcome to the forum. Please post your mods and your dyno sheets for the rest of us to view. Your #'s are very interesting.

70 Mach

I'll do that as soon as I get them. I drove over to the shop this afternoon, but got stuck in traffic, and the guy was gone with my invoice specs before I got there. I'll have it tomorow though and will post them.

I'll take a pic and post as soon as I get it back. They are just tweaking it at the moment. I should have the exterior modifications back by next Friday.

I'm curious too, just start a new thread about it.

Back on topic, those numbers sound pretty great, those are the exact same mods I'm planning to do, but keep stock 3.55 gears and add an aluminum driveshaft.

I am planning to do LT's next. I am really hoping with my current mods I could hit about 298rwhp(350 crank) with better weather. Then probably 315rwhp with LT's. And 345-350rwhp with cams. Add gt500 TB, maybe 360rwhp,finally C&L's intake manifold (coming out soon),370-375rwhp.
I don't know about heads now since they are $2400-2500,add $800 core charge, and install+labor costs. Total would be 3700-3800+. If I would ever get those,it would be farther down the road.

Got it Dyno tested Saturday. Its still lacking room to breath, so it still needs to get about $600 in Magna Flow exhaust work done on it. But its best run Saturday was 510 ft. pounds at the rear wheels. Not quite what I had been told, but its getting there. They did nine runs, so the car was running hot. It's going back in a couple of weeks to get the exhaust and a new tune, so we'll see how far I can get with it. Once its done, I'll get a clean run at 150 degrees. I'll post my best sheet in a few weeks. Frankly, at this point, it all comes down to driving it. The wild beast has enough to beat anything if its got the right driver.

Oulexicon: What kind of turbo do you have and how do you the turbo copared to the SC in your Scion?

The turbo is the modified Mitsubishi twin turbo from Fastlane in Houston. Its timely that you asked that question because I got the final product of my Scion back yesterday, and was doing a lot of research last night on the turbo/SC debate. Personally, if I could go back in time, I would have left the SC on th shelf and started with a turbo. As it is, I started with the TRD SC because the 30% boost in hp came with the full factory warranty. Aftermarket modifications such as lighter pulleys, meth injection (no room for intercooler), heads, and magna flow exhaust, tuning to 10 psi etc.. broadened the power band and made it considerably faster, but the initial boost is not great, and its much more noticable at the redline.

As far as the Mustang, the turbo really kicks in right above the 2800rpm range and really pulls. Two totally different cars to drive, but based on the individual differences I have found with them, I prefer the turbo. The turbo lag is so slight that it kicks in faster than you can floor the pedal and lay off of it.

I am about to put a Greddy turbo kit on my RX-8, and will have more input on this in a few weeks. I've got to sell a couple of cars before I invest in a new project. Its been a tough decision on wheather to put 350hp turbo upgrade into a 1.3 liter rotary, but I am finally convinced it will be safe and street legal, while giving me the perfect 50/50 distribution needed for the euro track racing.

But enough about that. I think I have highjacked this thread enough.
