I've been playing around with the JLT CAI on my car here and there. I have not installed it for more than 30 minutes because I am waiting on a custom tune from JLT. I've been playing with the a/f mixture with the Predator adjustable parameters.

As some people say " should increase 25%" richer. Well I'm not too comfortable making adjustments without a dyno so I left it alone.

Anyone still having trouble with the CEL?

I'm worried that after paying more money for a custom tune that the "infamous" CEL will make its appearance known again.

 

Hey J-stang, I actually started having CEL problems before my trip to Vegas. I super-glued the inserts in there, let dry and tightened back and forth with decent pressure on the sensor. The rubber inserts balooned inside the tube which I was happy to see. It is on there REALLY tight and I drove 900 miles without a CEL.

Bryan did you have a CEL problem when you installed the MMR?

 

Yes - it lasted abotu 200 miles. Then I got my tune and it never came back.

Never had a CEL on mine - with or without the JLT. I now have about 650 miles on the JLT.

 

Have JLT about 1500 - 2000 miles with no CEL.....
