JLT CAI + brenspeed tune!

WOW! It makes a huge difference in the performance of the car, mostly at higher RPM's (about 3500-4000 for my car). I didn't believe that it would be that noticeable but it is. Just got mine from brenspeed today and installed it in about 45 min total. I just have the 87 tune programmed right now (just filled up yesterday!!) but when I run all of my 87 gas out the 93 will be loaded Now I am looking for my next set of mods that wont be to hard to put back to stock (just incase of warranty issues). Any suggestions?

thanks guys, quick question though. its 44 degrees out here right now and i just took my car into town and back (15 min) and only got on it once and the fan was going like crazy, its like its over heating. Is this normal with the tune? Do they set it to where it comes on at a lower temp? Since it has been getting cold I have not noticed it coming on...maybe i am just paranoid.....

I'm pretty sure this is normal. I get the same thing with mine. I can hear the fans spooling down everytime I shut the car off.

I hope so, i think i am just paranoid. I am so mechanically stupid i freak out when things change. i was reading on another forum that there is a way to make your fans come back on at the stock setting. Will this affect the power of the tune? If no power problems how do you change it back?

I wouldn't change those points. They are set that way for a reason. Like others have said, the guys at Brenspeed know what they are doing.

I am waiting on my Brenspeed SCT Tune now for my 05GT My JLT Tune that is on my Shelby also kicks the fans on early. Its just to help keep the engine as cool as possible, I think.

I wouldn't worry about it! As long as the car is not overheating then I wouldn't change anything. The fans comeing on sooner just helps in the car running cooler.

Good to hear, Brenspeed knows what they are doing.
Fans are coming on early to keep cool.

Reminds me of a stupid funny story.
I drove for a few months without my fan plugged in, forgot to plug in after changing out pulleys, oops.
I did not notice this until the warmer months and I was stuck in bumper to bumper traffic.
Temp gauge always read normal, until that day I looked down and it was right on H
With no where to pull over, I was freaking out. As soon as I started to move the temp went down right away, I pulled off and knew what happened right away. No harm done thankfully.
