I am taking my car to my local tuner this weekend for a full-on dyno tuning session. One of the items that will be added to the car prior to the tune will be the JLT CAI. I have been reading where the installation of this kit will result in a super-lean condition, and thus why it is sold with a tune.
My tuner is a Diablo chipmaster revolution dealer, and we will be using my Predator to do all the adjustments needed to get the car right. My question is this, what preliminary adjustments should be made to the A/F tables prior to getting it on the dyno? From what I understand, they will not be able to make a full pull on the dyno with the JLT in place and no tune installed. Is there a baseline calibration I can make with my Predator so it does not go lean on the first pull before tuning? What advice should I give my tuner?
Thanks,
