OK, false alarm. I sent the pic of the thing to my wife and she said "Oh no way, it doesn't look like that at all! The thing you got is round like a ring" Then she said it's from JLT. AAAAAHHHHH!!!! OK so my JLT insert is here, but the spacer isn't yet. False alarm - as you were

I ordered from autoanything. They're shipped directly from the manufacturer.

JLT setup.
If you flip the elbow around and put the shorter end on the TB it will give much more clearance.

Its not the horsepower number you should be concerning yourself with anyways. Its the torque and this piece apparently improves that 10+ and reduces throttle lag through the rpm. My mid range definitely feels smoother and the pickup is a bit better than before.

This thing also adds a slight whine at higher RPM, I love it. The next time im on the dyno I will be more than happy to confirm the changes.

If I wanted to change the color of the TBS, what type paint would I use?

Common sense tells me "High Heat". But with all the air "Turbulating" through it, how hot would it really get. Or would it just heat up from the engine compartment?

Engine paint?

Has anyone had any success or difficulties with the TB spacer with the C&L Intake? I love the look of the intake, but don't want to sacrafice function for fashion. I'm sold on the spacer and don't want to create any extra work for myself.

As soon as I get my spacer, I'll let you know. I already have the C&L.

I have the C&L and installed the spacer yesterday. The throttle response is a little better but can't really tell a great deal of difference in power... No problem with the install or the C&L with clearance. I DID NOT DISCONNECT THE ELECTRICALS OR BATTERY. There is no need to. I just let the throttle body drop below and install the spacer.

That's good to know that it will fit. After looking at the space, I thought it might not fit.

Why did you NOT disconnect the electrical system?

I thought it was a good idea to let the computer re-learn the new air "situation".

I really don't know for sure, but resetting the computer couldn't hurt.

What do others say about resetting the computer?

She's in!

The space ain't that great with a C&L, real tight. Had to "Squish" the air filter cone against the fender to get the correct angle of the C&L intake arm to line up against the TB.

I also have a "temp" vent hose on till I can make the right one to use with the stock connectors.

Might of been in my head, but it "felt" better and I did slighty hear that whistle sound as I start to accelerate, but the SLP's drown it out after take-off.

I will not be ordering anything from them ever again. I know that back order issues are out of their control, but I ordered on 8/3 and my card was charged that day. I don't like being charged for something that's not on the way. So bu-bye autoanything.com

I got mine from RPM Outlet, it took about 3 weeks (order to door), but for them to hassle with USPS/Customs and for it to come all the way to Germeny, I can't complain.
