Is it easy to install, Says that it just plugs in. If you have a Diablo Tuner would something like this still work or would that be overkill?

I had one and sold it to another member here. It does help the throttle response some and a bit in the midrange power, but don't expect it do do wonders. Overall I liked it and for the everyday driver who just wants to get a bit more response out of the motor along with an exhaust and a couple other items it makes a nice improvement!..I got rid of mine because I put the S/C on the car or I would still have it most likely. It is worth the $$ IMO

It says it advances the timing. Does that mean it requires 93 octane?

it also recommends that you have intake/exhaust work done as well to get the pull power out of the module

Any advantage over one of the custom tunes out there? (other than price)

you will probably yield better overall results from a CAI and tune over the jet module. But with the Jet, you can just unplug it from the PCM when you go to the dealer and they have no way of detecting it according to JET..With the CAI and tune they CAN see it.
