Looks pretty tempting...I had MAC longtubes and h-pipe on my 93 notch back and loved it. Its just a pain in the **** to get an inspection sticker. Vegasjay, how are you going to get around that every year?? I would really love to see the jba shorty numbers to see how big of difference it makes so I could keep everything legit....

Very nice numbers. Those things must flow great imagine what they would do with a blower on top. Anyone have a picture of the stock headers? If not how restrictive do they look?

I'll have some shorty numbers for you in the near future. They are being installed, and will be on the dyno on Feb 11-12.

Won't have to worry for a while... but when the time come's I'll just make sure Stevie Wonder does it! The JBA's really opened her up, I wasn't thinkin that good, but cool!! It's not that the stock tubes are that restrictive I think, it's the way the JBA pipes are "tuned" rather. The stock tube's aren't that bad for a manifold really. I plan on dyno'ing her after the C&L intake and Diablo. Hopeing to brake 330 to the ground!! Finger's crossed!!

Sweet...I just read your other post after putting this up. That will be great to see, are you going to have it dyno tuned to get a before and after hp difference??

That will be nice...speaking of C&L, I talked to them today and they said they only had 5 cai's in stock but they were already spoken for from preorders and the handheld would be in next week. Were you one of the lucky first few?? Do you know if the predator is like the xcalibrator, in that it will download the stock tune before uploading the aftermarket one???

Are longtubes a female dog to install on these cars like the last gen of mustangs? I can't do it myself, and am seriously considering it if it doesn't require dropping the transmission, because I don't want to pay for that kind of labor.

Go to my site to see the difference in the stock vs. JBA long tubes. It is a HUGE difference! We still have not tuned or dyno'd ours yet, there are still alot more mods planned for the car. We did get all the suspension done though, and the car ahs it's new wheels on the ground!

As far as installation, with the new K-member those cars have, installation was alot easier than previous models! Not to say they are a complete breeze, but anyone who's ever had to drop a K-member to install headers before would love these!

Here's a link to see those pics, there are still more going up soon. There is also a video here to let you hear how the long tubes with Magn-Flow Axle Back sounds......

Justin,
If you have the ability to try to get a before and after dyno of the intake and predator tune. I know that you have the headers on already but I am extremely curious to see what numbers your stang will put out with the exhaust then what bump you will get from your next mods. I know the dyno is expensive but since our cars are similar we might be able to share some tuning info.

For you, I will do!! I was going to do it all in one shot i.e install the intake and Diablo, with the headers and other mod's and Dyno tune all at once. I was hopeing to save some money that way. It will probabley be better to do a before and after anyway... As one of the first to try a C&L intake and Diablo tuner I sorta feel it's my "duty" now to report the real gains to you guy's!! Your right we should be able to share tuning info, that'll be cool. Besides it's a little late to worry about save'n a couple buck's!!

I recall someone installed them a while back and yes, he said they were a PITA to install. Very time consuming from what I can remember

They are a PIA to install IMO. That was me that posted that. The trick is, you will want to have access to a lift. I did it in my garage with a jack and stand's That's what ate up all the time. Nothing major has to be removed, just the steering rod and rack, the starter etc. It's well worth it, believe me....
